Combined Charging System

Unlike standard AC charging (base cable or wallbox), fast charging is only possible at special CCS stations that operate with DC and requires only 20 – 30 minutes. This is the current time needed to restore about 80% of the battery's capacity. The “Combined Charging System” (CCS) is an internationally recognized standard. Looking ahead, it is also conceivable that electric vehicles could be charged without a cable, namely through induction.
