DOC – Depth of Charge

This term is used to indicate the percentage of battery consumed by an electric vehicle in a usage cycle. It therefore represents the energy drawn from the battery relative to its maximum capacity. The DoC is an important parameter for monitoring and managing the battery more efficiently. Batteries can have a longer life cycle if the DoC is between 20% and 80%.
