EVER – Electric vehicle extended range

Hybrid technology used in electric vehicles that involves the use of an internal combustion engine that does not provide traction to the wheels, but acts solely as a generator of electrical energy with the function of recharging the internal battery, thereby extending the electric vehicle's range in case of necessity. EVER technology is often used in large electric motors, such as commercial vehicles or electric vans, where range is considered a critical factor.
