HEV – Hybrid Electric Vehicles

Like Full Hybrid vehicles, HEVs have both an internal combustion engine and one or more electric motors. The difference with Full Hybrid vehicles is in the use of the engine. In HEVs, the electric motor supports during driving, assisting during acceleration or when driving at low speeds, but generally it is not possible to drive in a fully electric mode as is the case with Full Hybrid vehicles.
