Range anxiety

A particular emotional state sometimes experienced by owners of electric vehicles and caused by the limited range of the battery and the possible lack of charging infrastructure available in the immediate vicinity for their vehicle. This state of mind can also significantly limit the individual's sense of freedom of movement and is considered by many to be one of the major obstacles to the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. Partly, this issue is seen as overcome thanks to technological innovation, which has allowed for greater range of EV vehicles.
