In the past few days, important updates have been released that expand the functionalities of the Daze App and Daze chargers.
To benefit from these improvements, it's necessary to update the Daze App to version 7.3.1, available in app stores, and the firmware of Dazebox Home to version 22.2.13.1.

New Features and Updates

  • Simplified bluetooth update process (Dazebox Home, Dazebox C):
The firmware update process for chargers not connected to the internet, which require updating via Bluetooth through the App, has been simplified. The firmware is now downloaded to the phone in the background without requiring user interaction. The subsequent firmware transfer to the charger remains unchanged.

  • Improved charging mode switching during a session (Dazebox Home, Dazebox Share):
It is now possible to switch from "Standard" mode to "Self-consumption" mode during a charging session directly from the charger's dashboard. Previously, switching was only allowed from "Self-consumption" to "Standard."

  • Automatic detection of improper wiring (Dazebox Home):
A temperature check on the input terminals of Dazebox Home has been enabled to prevent damage caused by incorrect cable lug preparation during installation. Error Code 12 has been created for this alert.

  • New OCPP commands (Dazebox Home):
OCPP 1.6 Smart Charging commands have been introduced to Dazebox Home, enabling third-party CPMS systems to manage charging power. For chargers not managed via OCPP, this update does not introduce new functionalities.

  • Authorization countdown indicated by LED (Dazebox Home): During the 60-second countdown after app-based authorization, the authorized socket’s status LED now flashes green.

  • Modified connectivity icon behavior (Dazebox Home): The cloud connectivity icon on the Dazebox Home display now stays lit only when the charger is actually connected to the Daze backend via the internet.

  • The RFID card serial number used to authorize each session is now displayed in the session list.

  • It is now possible to set a phase current value lower than 16A in the charger parameters for Urban models.

  • Improved responsiveness in the network list and user section.

  • Improved Bluetooth compatibility with Android devices

  • Fixed UI issues in charger list
