Load balancing or Load management

When multiple charging points are present at the same station, the load management function (Load Balancing) proves beneficial as it allows for the available power to be distributed proportionally. This way, it will be possible to optimally charge each electric vehicle within the capacity limits. In a domestic context, for example, load management ensures that the meter does not trip if household appliances are also in use during the vehicle charging. In an industrial context, on the other hand, this function allows for the creation of an electric vehicle charging infrastructure consisting of many charging sockets in the presence of limited power supply.
