MHEV – Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicles
MHEV – Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicles
Type of hybrid vehicle that uses an internal combustion engine and a low-power electric system. This system supports the functions of the internal combustion engine to assist during start-up or acceleration. The main difference compared to a HEV is in the size of the electric motor, which in a Mild Hybrid is smaller and less powerful. It is considered a hybrid vehicle in every respect, therefore it enjoys the possible incentives granted to this category of vehicles.
