Can I use Dazebox Share with a photovoltaic system?

Yes, in Self-consumption mode Dazebox Share can use excess solar energy to charge the car instead of feeding it into the grid. To use this function with a photovoltaic system of any brand, you need the Power Meter accessory, which measures in real time the energy drawn from or fed into the grid. Dazebox Share does not communicate directly with the inverter, so the function does not depend on the brand of the photovoltaic system.

Can Dazebox Share switch automatically from three-phase to single-phase charging?

Yes, on the three-phase versions you can enable reduced-power charging from the Daze app. When the available power is not enough to charge in three-phase, Dazebox Share automatically switches to single-phase charging, which requires a lower minimum power. The function is also available when using Self-consumption mode.

Which versions of Dazebox Share are available?

Dazebox Share is available with a 5 or 7 metre integrated cable, with a coiled cable extendable up to 5 metres, or with a Type 2 socket. The versions with coiled cable and the version with socket and integrated protections include a residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO). All configurations are available in both single-phase, with up to 7.4 kW, and three-phase, up to 22.2 kW, with or without MID certified meter.
