Launch of Daze App Release 7.2.0: Discover All the New Features

On December 18, 2024, a significant update for the Daze App was released, introducing new functionalities, user experience improvements, and bug fixes. To take advantage of all the enhancements, it is necessary to update the App to version 7.2.0, now available on the app stores.

What’s New in the Daze App

  • Maximum Charging Power for Chargers in Load Balancing: The ability to select a maximum charging power for chargers installed in Load Balancing has been introduced. This power can be adjusted during the charging session, both via Bluetooth and remotely for connected chargers. (Available for Dazebox Home and Dazebox Share).
  • Maximum Charging Power for Chargers without Load Balancing: For chargers without Load Balancing, it is now possible to adjust the maximum charging power directly from the charger’s dashboard. For DBH, this can also be done during a charging session, both via Bluetooth and remotely. (Available for Dazebox C, Dazebox Home, and Dazebox Share).
  • Current Limitation for Single-Phase and Two-Phase Charging: Users can now set a maximum current for single-phase or two-phase charging. This helps minimize network imbalance during single-phase or two-phase charging without limiting current during three-phase charging. (Available for Dazebox Home, Dazebox Share, Urban, and Duo).
  • Within the charger dashboard, under Session Details, connected chargers now display the power supply voltage for each line (Available for Dazebox Home, Dazebox Share, Urban, and Duo).
  • Remote Reconfiguration of the Charger: The ability to modify operating modes and installation parameters remotely has been introduced (not available for Dazebox C).
  • Remote Modification of OCPP Configurations: Users can now modify the charger’s OCPP configurations remotely (not available for Dazebox C).
  • Three-Phase Charger Configuration on Single-Phase Networks: It is now possible to configure a three-phase charger to operate on a single-phase network.

Other Improvements

Among the most significant improvements of version 7.2.0 we find the possibility to add a registered user to the Daze App to a network even if he has never logged in to the App. The possibility to manage Duo and associate the Dazebox with integrated protections was introduced. We find then:

  • Faster login
  • Faster navigation between pages
  • Fast and graphically uniform opening of the charger dashboard
  • Session details are now visible even when the reload is paused or paused

Bug Fixes

The update also includes a series of fixes that enhance app stability and reliability:

  • Fixed a bug where it was impossible to deactivate self-consumption mode from the charger under certain conditions.
  • Fixed a bug where opening favorites triggered a loading every time.
  • Fixed a bug where the next charging window was not displayed in scheduled charging mode.
  • Fixed a bug where, in some installations, the maximum charger current in “Charger Details” displayed as N/A.
  • Resolved graphical inconsistencies between network-level and user-level sessions.
  • Fixed an issue causing a delay in displaying the button for Bluetooth updates in certain situations.
  • Fixed a bug where the maximum charger power displayed as 0 kW on the dashboard despite never being configured.

With the 7.2.0 update, the Daze App becomes even more complete and intuitive, offering advanced functionalities and improvements designed to simplify your charging experience. To access all the new features, update your charger to the latest version and download the updated App now from the Play Store or Apple Store.
